Walnut Victorian Music Cabinet, Sheet Music

This elegantly designed Victorian cabinet was originally made to store sheet music.  Cabinets of this quality and size are extremely hard to come by.  The wood is a highly figured walnut and it retains its original finish, which is in superb condition.  The doors have delicate, yet deep mouldings framing the shapely glass.  They retain their original working lock, key and wooden escutcheon.  The interior wood is maple – a genuine sign of quality.  There are 16 partitions to store sheet music.  Their height is 16″ and depth is 12.25″.  Notice the decoration moulding on the sides, the carvings on the knees and the shapely cut skirt on the front and sides.  The serpentine shaped legs have their original wooden casters.  What a beautiful piece of simple, yet high style Victorian.
