Victorian Walnut Pedestal Desk

Check out this unique desk.  The top has 4 drawers, 2 on each side and rests on a pedestal base.  The shaped top has an inset leather like writing surface.  The writing surface has wear and some staining.  We can arrange for a replacement.  The drawers are hand dovetailed and 2 have their original working locks.  The sides of the top have recessed panels.  The pedestal is boldly turned and has 4 gracefully shaped legs with subtle carvings.  The desk rests on its original brass castors.  The desk is in excellent condition and the drawers work smoothly.  This desk looks great against a wall or in the center of the room.  There is a roundel missing on one side of one foot.
