Mahogany Revolving Bookcase

This lovely solid mahogany revolving bookcase was made by the well-known Danner Company.  Notice the delicately carved gadrooned or rope edge along the top.  Below is a wide shelf, which measures 6″ tall.  Below is another shelf divided into compartments, which measures 12″ tall.  The bookcase rests on a wooden and iron platform with casters.  The bookcase turns smoothly and is extremely sturdy.  The finish is original and in excellent condition having a rich color and patina.
